"You're such a git, Jacob." You giggle aloud, shutting your book.
He frowns while Evie suppresses a smile. She always could count on you to tease her brother.
"How so, my lovely (y/n)?" He mocks.
A devilish smirk graces your lips as you leave your spot beneath the tree, following his footsteps with a sway of your hips. Where would you start?
"I can choose a number of times you've gotten us in danger. Perhaps it's story time?" Evie laughs, hand on your shoulder to support herself.
Jacob rolls his eyes and trudges off into the distance, vanishing inside your inn.
"(y/n), you will be the death of me." His sister jokes, linking an arm through yours.
You pat her arm gently and the two of you walk around the courtyard, conversing on the status of your mission and finding this 'Strain' character. Nonetheless, you don't hesitate to bring up the subject of Evie's brother and his mischievous nature.
The elder twin encouraged you to confess your feelings for him since they were strong, but you couldn't bring yourself to do so, fearing he had another woman in mind, much to Evie's dismay.
"We've been friends for a long time, (y/n). I wouldn't even think about lying to you, especially about this. Go to him and tell him. I promise you that he won't bite. If he does, it'll be his loss."
Reluctantly, you agree and take off inside, your dress weighing you down.
"Jacob!" You tread up the steps, that damned dress dragging across the floor.
Unbeknownst to you, a half-smile makes it way to his face and he stops, stooping at the top of the steps.
"Ah, dear (y/n)! What do you wish of me? Ridicule me some more, hmm? Embarrass me in front of my sister for laughs?" His voiced is laced with sarcasm and anger.
You attempt to put him at ease by staying at the bottom of the staircase.
"They're merely jokes, Jacob. I don't mean what I say, you know that."
He scoffs, "Really? Because I think you're enjoying yourself!"
You lightly walk up one step and then another, scrutinizing his facial expressions.
"I take it that you have mixed feelings about me. Tell me. Do you hate me?" You say nonchalantly, whipping out your fan and fanning your face.
"Ha! You've mistaken me, (n/n). But I guess you're right. I hate the way you act. Your actions infuriate me."
You bite your tongue.
You weren't expecting him to agree.
"Give me a reason." You demand, leaning on the wall.
He stops, a look of anger and frustration mixed into his face.
Yes, this is what you want.
"I can list several bloody times you've gone out of your way to make me cross!" He throws his hands up, frustrated.
You want to smile, to make a snarky comment, but you can't.
You narrow your eyes and stomp all the way to the top, fan in one hand.
"Is it because of how Henry always seems to be making eyes at me. You don't like that, do you?"
While you circle around him, red dusts his cheeks.
As if on cue, Henry's voice calls for you, "(y/n)? Where are you?"
Footsteps from below sound out his and Evie's arrival.
You look back at Jacob and feel the tension between the two of you increase.
"Right! Go, please. You can come back and chastise me later." He huffs, gladly taking his leave.
Heat pools in your stomach as you grab his arm and shove him against the wall, picture frames clinking from the impact of his body.
"Jealous, Mr. Frye?" You tease him, rather anxious to get your point across.
Out of the corner of your eye comes Henry and Evie, making small talk. They don't notice you yet.
Perfect!
"Damn it, woman! So what if I am? What are you going to do about?"
You cover your face, happily smiling. Just what you wanted to hear.
"Oh, nothing... "
Leaning towards him, your hand cups the side of his face and you press your lips to his, draping an arm over his shoulder.
Jacob is caught by surprise, eyes wider than dinner plates.
By this point, Henry and Evie have quit talking.
She begins to snicker while a grin sticks to his face.
Gradually, the man in front of you closes his eyes, hands wrapped around your waist.
Unfortunately, you bring it to an end, but not before adding, "Meet me in my room later, okay?" You curtsy, strutting down the stairs to get back to the foyer.
*Extended Ending*
Whilst you wait, Henry laughs at a blushing Jacob, hand on his shoulder.
The brunet muses, "Ah, congratulations, Jacob. I can hear wedding bells off in the distance."
"Oh, shut up, Greenie..."

The rain had began to fall at the least convenient of times, while you and Jacob ran to take refuge, laughing together as the stinging flecks found their way past the leather of your coats and onto your skin, the rain ran down the creases of your smile into your gleeful grins. “No stop, here.” Jacob grabbed your hand, his fingers feeling warm as they curled around yours, tugging you towards an old storage warehouse.
“This place is always empty.” He announced, voice echoing slightly in the wide building.
“Nice work.” You grinned, following him up a set of groaning, dust littered stairs. “Is it always

Jacob Frye x Reader ~ Family
Your head was drowsy when you awoke, blinking to find the bedside lamp flickering in your eyes, making them threaten to water. The other side of the bed was empty, though the impression on the pillow was fresh where he had been. “Jacob?” You murmured, voice raspy with sleep. Sitting up you saw him on the end of the bed, by her crib.
He turned to look at you, his face was pale, and his eyes were rimmed red from lack of sleep , but he wore a contented smile. “You alright, love?”
You nodded, mind still half clouded from sleep. “Yeah, is the baby alright?”
“She's fine, I just,” he trailed off fo

*sighs* Jacob Frye is so cute....
It's been a really long time since I uploaded anything! I apologize since school's such a hassle! Ugh, why!
I've watched the walkthrough for Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! (Wish I could get the game though....)
I might do a fic between the reader and Evie, but that'll be for when I can get some free time.
Any spelling/grammar errors, let me know!
I don't any of the AC characters! They belong to Ubisoft!
